Poetry & Youth : your key to hope

Three days, 7-9 of March, in the fairy locations of Trieste and Duino to discuss and reflect through poetry about the role of youth in the globalisation, in social changes, in the human solidarity. 

The theme of the event will lead us in this walk…" voices / silence ".

The international level of the poetry prize organised by the Voluntary Association “Poetry and Solidarity” with the UWCA (United World College of Adriatic) will give the possibility to realize it joining the thought of young people from all sides of the planet. There will be time to read and breathe poetry during the handshaking and the visit of the surroundings of Trieste.

The Poetry Prize “Castello di Duino” is organised under the patronage of the Prince of Duino, Carlo Alessandro della Torre e Tasso, who will host, on Sunday, the Poetry Gala in his castle.

Tre giorni, dal 7 al 9 marzo, nel favoloso ambiente di Trieste e Duino, per discutere e riflettere attraverso la poesia sul ruolo dei giovani nella globalizzazione, nei cambiamenti sociali, nella solidarietà umana.

Il tema dell'evento ci porterà su questo sentiero.... " voci / silenzio ".

Il livello internazionale del premio di poesia organizzato dall'associazione di volontariato "Poesia e Solidarietà" in collaborazione con il Collegio del Mondo Unito dell'Adriatico darà la possibilità di realizzare questo fondendo insieme i pensieri di giovani provenienti da tutte le parti del pianeta. Ci sarà il tempo per leggere e respirare la poesia durante le occasioni di socializzazione e la visita del territorio di Trieste.

Il Concorso di Poesia "Castello di Duino" è organizzato sotto il patronato del Principe di Duino, Carlo Alessandro della Torre e Tasso, che ospiterà nella giornata di domenica il Galà della Poesia nel Suo castello.domenica 9 marzo 2008.
